On June 16 2020 The Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) protest in Brussels attracted several international news agencies. During the massive demonstration against the Pakistani war crimes, the protestors demanded to end the illegal curfew which is implemented in North-Waziristan. Due to the curfew shops are running out of food, medicines are not available and the sick can not reach a hospital.

All means of digital communication, mobile, landline, and internet, in the area had been shot-down. The curfew was implemented after the Pakistan Army started shooting on PTM protesters, which killed 15 and wounded more than 50 peaceful protesters. Human Rights organizations all over de world demanded the case to be investigated, but instead the Pakistan Army implemented a curfew in order to prevent independent investigation.
