ABOUT US
PTM - A grassroots non-violent human rights movement
Pashtun Tahafuz (protection) Movement, PTM is a human rights movement with aim to protect the rights of Pashtuns.
Ever since its creation, the state of Pakistan oppresses Pashtuns, violating their constitutional rights. Peaceful protests for the rights of Pashtuns have been crushed brutally. The massacres of Babrra (12 August 1948) and Khar Qamar (26 May 2019) are symbols of Pakistani brutalities against Pashtuns.
In addition to brutally crushing rights movements, the Pakistani state and especially the army have been using several other tactics to oppress Pashtuns. . Read more >
